Dearest Ruth, you didn't believe me when in your last few weeks, I said your radiance shone through. Your inner light seemed to get brighter as your body failed you. You thought I was being kind, but, you said, you had seen yourself in the mirror and you thought you looked bad. I was being honest I said, and you nodded, but I think you knew that your strength and your light couldn't be destroyed. Your years of study and practice, and all the suffering couldn't dent your indomitable spirit. I will miss you more than words can say. You were a true hero. Rest in peace, dear Ruth. All love, Salxxx

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
